Fido Not Coming to You When You Call Him?

Then Come Back to Me - A Recall Class is the training class for you! Get your dog to come to you the first time you call and every time you call! This fun, specialized 45 minute class runs for 4 consecutive weeks and focuses on training recall games and building a strong Come Back to Me cue. Weather permitting, some classes may take place outside!

It's that time of the year where we will soon start to hear the pitter patter of little paws entering our shelter. As we enter into puppy and kitten season, we need your help! Surrender Forms

HSBV provides forms for your use as you organize your pet’s relinquishment.  We encourage you to be as detailed and verbose as possible as all information will be used during assessment and then passed along to your pet’s adoptive family.

Copies of pet medical records, including vaccination history, are critical in providing care for your pet.  We encourage you to contact your veterinarian prior to relinquishment to request a medical history report that you can share with us at the time of relinqishment.

You will be required to sign a document that releases guardianship of the animal from you to the Humane Society of Boulder Valley.

Please let the staff know if your animal has bitten anyone in the last ten days. Animals must be held ten days from the date of the bite for rabies observation if he or she broke the skin.
