Thank you for your interest in volunteering with the Humane Society of Boulder Valley! Every day we rely on our wonderful volunteers to help protect and care for the many animals who enter our shelter.
Volunteers make a six-month commitment and go through extensive training so that they and the animals stay safe. There are so many ways to help! From animal care to thrift shop cashier, there's sure to be a volunteer opportunity to fit your skills and interests.

Information Sessions are held in the Humane Society Education Center, located at 2323 55th Street, Boulder. Applications are available online, at the Information Session, or they can be mailed to your home by contacting our Volunteer Department at (303) 442-4030, extension 612.

THRIFT & GIFT SHOP CASHIER
and MERCHANDISE PRICER
Looking for a new volunteer opportunity? Well, look no further! Volunteer as a cashier or help price merchandise at the Humane Society of Boulder Valley Thrift & Gift Shop!
Proceeds from the Thrift & Gift Shop directly fund Humane Society programs and help us save animals and improve lives. The Thrift & Gift Shop is very busy these days, and we need more volunteer help to keep up. Sign up to be a cashier or help behind the scenes by pricing merchandise.
Located at 5320 Arapahoe Avenue, the Thrift & Gift Shop offers gently-used merchandise including clothing, furniture, household items, books, art and jewelry. The Thrift & Gift Shop is also known for its selection of unique antiques and collectibles.
