The Humane Society of Boulder Valley (HSBV) is seeking an enthusiastic, team-oriented individual for the position of Behavior and Health Coordinator. Behavior and Health Coordinators (BHCs) are responsible for ensuring animals entering and residing at the shelter are cared for in a manner consistent with HSBV's evaluation, rehabilitation, foster, adoption, and transfer programs. BHCs perform animal evaluations and wellness checks, administer vaccinations, coordinate the foster care program, work closely with local rescue agencies and transfer partners, communicate with families who have relinquished a pet, and perform euthanasia. This position requires weekend and holiday availability as well as the ability to work ten-hour shifts: 8:00 am - 7:00 pm on weekdays and 7:00 am - 6:00 pm on weekends. Full or part-time positions may be available. The starting pay rate for this position is $13.00 per hour.
