READY, SET, SMELL!  Our K9 Nose Work®   6 week class will introduce you to the exciting world of your dog’s nose!

It is said that a dog’s sense of smell is at least a thousand times stronger than a humans.  That’s why we often see dogs assisting with amazing tasks such search and rescue, customs security, and medical assistance!  Encouraging your dog to use his or her nose is also great enrichment and fun!  The perfect mental and physical activity for dogs of any age and breed, nose work helps build confidence, focus, and the bond between you and your dog.

This exciting 1 hour class is designed by our certified Associate Nose Work Instructor to give you and your dog a start to this unique sport.

Dogs participating in this class will “work” the room one at a time; therefore, your dog must be comfortable spending time in his or her crate during turn-taking.  Dogs must be friendly with people to participate in this class and must be an established client who has attended one of the following: Grumpy Growlers, Control Unleashed or a private consultation at the Humane Society of Boulder Valley.

Please bring to class: Your dog’s crate (soft or hard-sided), plenty of high-value food treats, and your dog on a 6 foot leash and either a regular collar, harness, or gentle leader.  Please no choke, prong, or shock collars.
