The first 16 weeks of your dog’s life are critically important in their development. Help your pup to get off on the right paw by joining us for Puppy Prep School!  Puppy Prep School is a five-week class that provides an hour of instruction on basic manners and behavioral issues, as well as offering your puppy the opportunity to flourish as they socialize with a new group of friends.

Please watch the Pre-Class Orientation video prior to attending Puppy Prep School. The video will provide you with important training skills to ensure your success in the program.

Puppy Prep School topics and activities include:

  • Puppy Manners: An introduction to important behaviors: sit, down, attention (respond to name and eye contact), loose leash walking, and come when called!
  • Puppy Parenting tips: How to accomplish house-training, resolve puppy play-biting, jumping, chewing, and barking.
  • Health and Handling: How to prepare puppy for routine procedures at home, at the veterinarian, and/or groomer.
  • Puppy Socialization: Your puppy will enjoy short play sessions with other puppies and will experience fun and positive exposure to novel people, sights, sounds, and surfaces.

Enrollment for Puppy Prep School is open to any puppy under the age of 16 weeks when class begins.
