The Humane Society of Boulder Valley is seeking friendly, outgoing individuals who enjoy working with people for the position of Adoption Specialist. The Adoption Specialist provides for the general care and maintenance of shelter animals and provides client service and adoption counseling for our adoption program. Applicants must be able to work ten-hour shifts and must be available to attend a full week of training January 8-12, 2018 from 9:00 am to 6:00 pm. Part-time (30 hours per week) and full-time (40 hours per week) positions are available. Hours will include weekends (7am-6pm), weekdays (8am-7pm) and holidays. The starting pay for this position is $11.60 per hour. The Humane Society of Boulder Valley is seeking friendly, hard-working individuals for the position of part-time Animal Care Attendant.  The Animal Care Attendant provides for the general care and maintenance of shelter animals including feeding, kennel cleaning, and disinfection of the shelter facilities at the Humane Society of Boulder Valley (HSBV). Applicants must be available to work three-hour shifts. Part-time hours will include weekends (2pm-5pm), weekdays (4pm - 7pm), and holiday mornings. This position has a starting pay rate of $10.60/hour. Behavior and Health Associate - Future Consideration

The Humane Society of Boulder Valley (HSBV)'s Behavior and Health Department serves over 7,000 animals each year through our evaluation, rehabilitation, foster, adoption, and transfer programs. Behavior and Health Associates respond to department communications, maintain animal medical and behavior records, administer vaccinations, maintain the department schedule, assist with euthanasia, and perform other duties to support the Behavior and Health Department. This position requires weekend and holiday availability as well as the ability to work eight to ten-hour shifts: 8:00 am - 7:00 pm on weekdays and 7:00 am - 6:00 pm on weekends.
