Dr. Mackenzie Quick received her BS in Veterinary Science with a minor in Spanish from the University of Arizona in Tucson before attending veterinary school at the University of California, Davis.

Dr. Quick’s veterinary interests include shelter medicine, public health, epidemiology, and international veterinary work. As a student, she traveled to volunteer in veterinary efforts in Costa Rica and Nicaragua. She is currently completing a one-year shelter medicine internship with the Humane Society of Boulder Valley.

Kenzie grew up as the daughter of two veterinarians in Tucson, AZ. She has two cats (one was her first spay ever!) and a horse named Rafael. She is excited about the great hiking and good food in Colorado. She enjoys salsa dancing and horseback riding. She is looking forward to her internship year with the animals and community at HSBV!
