Adoption services are available to drop-in clients, seven days a week: Monday through Friday, from 1 p.m. to 6 p.m. and Saturdays and Sundays, from 1 p.m. to 5 p.m.
At this time, we can not place animals on hold over the phone, email or via social media request. HSBV offers adoption holds for available animals only after you have met with them. Once you have met with an animal and are onsite, you may place a 1st hold for a $10 non-refundable service fee to support the cost of care and administration of your hold, and 2nd holds may be placed for $5 when adoption fees are less than $99.
