Help Needed for Puttin' On The Leash!

Puttin’ on the Leash: The Silver Screen, the Humane Society’s biggest fundraiser of the year, is Saturday, April 22nd at the Coors Events Center in Boulder!  We need over 350 volunteers to transform this amazing night into a fun-filled, blast of a gala! Puttin' on the Leash will be an evening of excitement and wonder, with huge live and silent auctions, glamorous costumes, heart-warming presentations, and the best food and beverages from over 20 of Boulder’s hippest restaurants. Volunteers can help set-up before the event, clean-up after the event, or participate in volunteer roles on event night such as silent auction volunteer, food service, live auction volunteer, and so much more!

Volunteers who help before or after the event must be at least 16 years old, and if you’re age 21 or older, you receive a complimentary ticket to the gala! Volunteers who help/attend on event night must be 21 years old.

The Volunteer Services Department resourcefully delivers quality services to the animals and community we serve through a team of ambassadors who exemplify the mission of the Humane Society of Boulder Valley. From direct animal care to helping in our veterinary clinic or thrift shop, our dedicated volunteers touch the lives of animals in many ways.

At this time, the Humane Society of Boulder Valley is not accepting applications for our Dog Kennel Assistant or Cat Kennel Assistant volunteer programs. However, there are still many ways you can volunteer to support the life-saving work of HSBV. For more information about currently available volunteer opportunities, please see the options below. Thank you for your interest in volunteering with us!
