Carlie joined HSBV in 2011 after graduating from CU Boulder with a BA in Linguistics. She started first as a volunteer, then worked as an Animal Welfare Associate in the shelter, before transitioning to the veterinary clinic in late 2012. She became the Client Service Supervisor in 2018, and was promoted to Client Service Manager in 2021. She is a Fear-Free Certified Professional. Carlie’s favorite part about working at HSBV is being able to be a resource for members of the community who need a little extra help. She also loves being able to get to know clients and their pets over a pet’s lifetime.
Outside of work, Carlie enjoys spending time with her husband and two kids. She has a giant fluffy dog named Zia and two sweet kitties named Sulley and Boo, all adopted from HSBV.
